  1. In class, we've talked about the rate of cell division of different kinds of specialized cells. We've briefly mentioned the idea that brain cells stop reproducing after the first few years of your life. Well, I just learned in one of my college courses that scientists have recently discovered that people generate new brain cells throughout their entire lives! However, the younger you are, the more likely you are to have a more successful recovery from damage to the brain. Also, evidence shows that exercise and learning experiences actually produce new brain cells! Keep up the hard work!
